PhotoRush Privacy Policy

PhotoRush is operated by Sonset Inc. ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use the PhotoRush app, why we collect it, and how you can control it.
Information we collect
- Account info: email address, full name, phone number, and the date and version of the Terms of Service you accepted.
- Booking info: shoot address, date and time, category, company name, the name and phone number of the person to ask for on site, the brief or shot list, extras, and price for each session you request or complete.
- Payment info: we do not store your full card number. Card processing is handled entirely by Stripe; we retain only the card brand and last 4 digits Stripe provides us for display purposes.
- Delivered photos: photos your photographer uploads after a completed session, stored privately and linked to your booking. They are deleted three months after delivery unless you extend their storage in the app.
- Photographers additionally have: a specialty and gear description, a device token for job notifications if they allow them, and a performance history (ratings, completed sessions, late cancellations). Photographers are onboarded by Sonset directly, not through the app.
- Sign in with Apple: if you sign in with Apple, Apple shares your name and email address (or a private relay address) with us to create your account.
We do not access your device's location, contacts, or photo library except when a photographer deliberately selects or captures a photo to upload to a session, and we do not use any advertising or analytics trackers.
How we use this information
- To create and manage your account and bookings.
- To match customers with an available photographer and coordinate the session.
- To process payment for completed sessions via Stripe.
- To notify photographers of new job requests, if they allow notifications.
- To maintain accounting records required by law.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the service providers that make PhotoRush work:
- Supabase: hosts our database, authentication, and photo storage.
- Stripe: processes payments and stores your payment method.
- Resend: delivers the emails that sign you in.
- Apple: Sign in with Apple, and push notifications for photographers.
A customer and the photographer assigned to their booking can see the information necessary to complete that session (name, address, contact details). We never sell your information to third parties.
Data retention and deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Account Settings. This permanently deletes your account: your name, phone number, saved payment method and, for customers, the photos delivered to you are removed, and you are signed out everywhere. Past booking records are retained without any link to your account, as required for our accounting records.
